The menu, while rooted in classic barbecue staples, showcases thoughtful execution across the board. Patrons often speak of the tender texture of the smoked offerings and the perfect char achieved on the exterior—a testament to the pitmasters' skill. Beyond the main attractions, the supporting cast of sides and accompaniments plays a crucial role in rounding out the meal, providing necessary textural contrast and brightness to cut through the richness of the barbecue.

Fast fresh. Tender. I did not taste any smoke flavor in the brisket, it tasted more like pot roast. Brisket, coleslaw, baked beans.
No bathrooms.

There were 5 of us guys heading back to our cabin from rafting the Pigeon River and we were hungry!
They were super friendly and patient with a couple Yankees visiting for the first time. Prices were very good. There were a lot of options.
The food was great! Tasty. Great portion sizes.
The woman who took our order seemed to be the owner and took great care of us.
Her husband came out a little later and chatted us up.
We were looking for an authentic restaurant and this was it!

In the Pigeon Forge area get off the beaten path to find this hidden gem offering some of the best pulled pork and brisket this ole boy has ever had! When you pull up you can't miss the grill/smoker right up front and the aroma of smoked meats permeates the air. We were greeted right away while still in the vehicle to see if we wanted drive thru service or were choosing to dine out back in the open air dining area. We chose to park and dine there. My kids were offered samples of pulled pork and brisket as well as smoked chicken. All were amazing 👏. I had pulled pork, brisket, baked beans, and potato salad. My wife had smoked chicken as well as one of my kids. Everything was authentic, fresh, tender, and tasty 😋. Customer service was top notch and the prices were reasonable considering the quality you were getting. The homemade sauce is superb 👌.
I'll be back when in the area!

This is some of the worst BBQ I’ve ever had. I got a plate and selected 2 meats - pulled pork and brisket. The pulled pork tasted more like salt than pork, and the brisket was incredibly tough and salty.
When I asked about if the green beans were canned, I was told no but they are cooked with bacon, and her favorite side. They were 100% from a can. Pretty sure the baked beans were as well.
The best thing I had is my Diet Coke. I have zero idea how this has 4.9 stars. It was expensive and not good. The family sitting down the table from us was complaining about their meal as well.

There are a couple of tests when it comes to good BBQ. One of those tests are if the meat falls off the bone of a chicken. Well…this chicken passed the test, went to pull the quarter off and the fell apart. Perfect moisture, good bark on the skin! The smoked green beans were on point, just enough smoky flavor but could still taste the bean. The pulled pork sandwich was good, not fatty, pulled not chopped, good smoke, good enough you don’t have to have sauce. I totally recommend this place!

Holy smokes, Bustin Butts Barbecue is incredible!
I had the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese, and my husband got the small pork sandwich with green beans — both were absolutely delicious! The portions were generous and piled high with perfectly smoked meat, hands down the best smoke flavor we’ve ever had.
They even have a drive-through, which was super convenient since we were on the go, but there’s also plenty of space to sit and eat, plus a cute little produce stand on-site. While we were there, we met one of the owners, CJ, who was so friendly and took the time to chat with us about the food.
We’ll definitely be back — highly recommend this place to anyone who loves real, flavorful barbecue! 🔥

This place is everything! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would give them a 100 more. Best BBQ I ever had, off the main drag, local, amazing staff and owner. We had the smoked wings, ribs with sides of green beans, mac & cheese, coleslaw and mash potatoes. The outside sitting area was just enough, prices are respectable. All in all, definitely go, don’t think twice, just go!

The drive through area was well organized and a convenient pit stop for quick and friendly service. There’s a nice produce stand on site where you can buy apples and vegetables. We ordered lunch around 1. I ordered the large brisket sandwich, others in my party ordered the pulled pork. The brisket was so so dry, it absolutely needed the bbq sauce. The smoke flavor was good. I think perhaps it was an off day as the reviews that led me here seem to enjoy it and I don’t want to leave fewer stars as this seems like a genuine hard working place with nice people.

If you’re looking for a spot that checks all the boxes for a great BBQ experience, this place is it. The food is absolutely fantastic—perfectly smoked meats, flavorful sides, and portions that’ll leave you more than satisfied. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get, which makes it an easy go-to whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or bringing the whole crew.
The staff couldn’t be friendlier—welcoming from the moment you walk in, quick with service, and always happy to make sure you’re taken care of. The atmosphere is laid-back and family-friendly, with a big communal eating area that makes it feel like you’re at a backyard cookout. Even better, it’s pet-friendly, so you don’t have to leave your four-legged family members at home.
Parking is a breeze with plenty of space, which is a rare find at popular food spots. Altogether, it’s a place where great food meets great people and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Definitely one of those gems you’ll want to come back to again and again.
